Resumen: Introduction: the environmental problems related to global warming, climate change, and alterations of natural resources deepen the food supply worldwide, so the current challenge involves the applicability of intelligent technologies in production processes, processing, conservation, monitoring, simulation, modeling, and management of natural resources to ensure food sovereignty and the fulfillment of sustainable development goals “zero hunger”. Objective: therefore, the analysis of the bibliometric review on the sustainable management of natural resources with intelligent technologies to optimize the production of healthy, nutritious and sustainable food was proposed. Method: scientific information was explored using the Scopus database, over a period of six years, with the use of the methodology (PRISMA, 2020). Results: the evolution in the applicability of climate-smart agriculture in emerging economies promises short-term contributions to eradicate hunger in the world with a hybridization in the conservation of natural resources, as demonstrated by the interest of the scientific community since 2022 with 110 high-impact publications. Conclusions: to conclude the incorporation of smart technologies such as industry 4.0, 5.0, IoT, AI, robotics, smart irrigation, satellite imagery, simulation, autonomous learning, Big Data, blockchain will allow guaranteeing healthy, nutritious and sustainable foods.
