Resumen: Abstract: The poultry area, is a sector that has experienced an important growth in terms of production, which has been linked to various factors such as: increase in the human population and increase in the demand for animal proteins, among others. Objective. - identify the main ergonomic risks that occur in workers of poultry farms and their relationship with health. Materials and methods. - The present, is an observational work of descriptive type of cross section, made in the poultry farms of Ecuador during the year 2017, by means of the use of the OCRA (Occupational Repetitive Action) method, which considers the valuation of several risk factors, such as: repetitiveness, inadequate or static postures, forces and forced movements. Results and conclusions. - The main risks found were: Manual movement of loads, forced postures, push and pull movements and repetitive movements. Among the frequent pathologies in workers were: Bursitis, epicondylitis, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, osteoarthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome.
