Resumen: The raster data are very important in Geographic Information Sys-tems (GIS) because they allow to show satellite images and be combined with vector data to display the information in a better way in several fields, such as medicine, agriculture, tourism, so on. The objective of the research was to meas-ure the usability quality of raster data management module included in a geo-portal, which is an improvement in the geoportal previously developed in a uni-versity. This module was subjected to a software quality analysis with the use of the ISO / IEC 25010: 2011 standard in the Usability feature and sub features of Operability and Learnability. To achieve this purpose, the GQM (Goal - Ques-tion - Metrics) methodology was used with which it has allowed to establish the goal that is a correct functionality of the raster data management software mod-ule; the questions were elaborated based on the SUS questionnaire (System Us-ability Scale) and has developed metrics to measure the quality in Operability and Learnability. The data obtained were analyzed statistically through the Levene’s test for equality of variances and means, and Spearman correlation. The results show that there is a moderate and positive correlation between both factors Operability and Learnability, which means that the greater the percep-tion of operability, the greater the perception in learnability.
