Resumen: Atpresentthetouristactivitydevelopsintheenvironmental,social,culturalandlandscape conservation. Ecuador has become a tourist destination for those who like nature tourism,due to its geographical location; allowing to develop severalactivities in this modality, amongthemhiking,whichcompliesexactlywithaseriesofguidelinesthatgeneratelessdamage and respect towards the natural environment. The objective of this investigation wasgeneralproposals for improvements in the different actions regarding the administration of the load capacity of the path by the Ministry of Environment and tourism management by the Ministry of Tourism. The case study focuses on the “Gorki Campuzano” trail located in the Cotacachi -Cayapas Ecological Reserve (RECC), where the beauty of its geography, relief, landscape, fused with the customs, traditions and culture of the neighboring communities. To contribute to the proper management strategies were established to protect the path of the human being itself, creating inputs for education, awareness and sustainable use of natural areas that prevent or mitigatetheriskoffires,exploitationofresources,destructionofflora,thecompaction,wearand degradation of both the path and the naturalenvironment.
