Resumen: The Technical University of the North through the preliminary contribution of the research project: Characterization of the management services to promote the security of control in the Peasant Organizations of the Playon in the Border Zone Colombo Ecuadoriana, with the collaboration of the teachers and student volunteers, the preliminary diagnosis in the Playon de San Francisco, to establish the determinants of the influential perspectives in the rural border environment; the descriptive methodological development and the direct participation of 25 randomly selected associates showed the types of activities developed in the sector, the qualification on the level of production and income, the peasant opinion on natural wealth, public dissemination of the resources that adorn the exuberant productive vegetation, with the means of intervention that contribute to the promotion of community tourism. The analysis of data from the rapid survey in the sector, determined the weak existence of the control mechanisms that encourage the diffusion of tourism resources, because 44% of the respondents agreed in the opinion of improvements, in the elaboration of plans of tourism and productive development, while 56% of the participants, showed their interest in the technical training for the development of the activities, with the support of the control tools, aimed at a better peasant action, promoting the stimulation and the application of government attention policies directed to the rural sector.
