Resumen: The risk of suffering injuries or musculoskeletal disorders due to a lack of good ergonomics leads to different pathologies or occupational clinical pictures with an increase in the morbidity of any organisation, being one of the main occupational health problems in the construction sector. The aim of the study is to identify the risk factor index (RF) and the short, medium and long-term consequences that can be generated in the short, medium and long term in the health of workers, due to exposure to manual load movement-MMC in the different civil works. Methodology, as a transversal, quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental research, and based on representative bibliographic data; a sample of 529 workers was determined. The application of interviews, questionnaire and the UNE EN 1005-2 methodology, constitutes an important risk-NR index of <65.4% average of injuries present, allowing that; back pain <58.3%), back pain >17.7%) and carpal tunnel syndrome >12.3%), torsion or ligament stretching >6.4%) and fractures >5.3%) were the least common. Conclusions, CMM-related MSDs are a common problem in work environments where heavy lifting, carrying or handling is required on a regular basis. These pathologies can affect the health and well-being of workers if not properly addressed.
