Resumen: This article constitutes one of the products obtained from a research carried out in 2015, on the administrative processes of support for Educational Inclusion that is run by the Ministry of Education of Zone 1 of the Ecuadorian territory, whose beneficiaries are children with special cognitive abilities. Techniques and instruments of the scientific method applied to the Social Sciences were used, from which the survey and the interview stood out, which yielded data that were interpreted from a theoretical framework of wide heuristic capacity, to later arrive at consistent conclusions. The results reflected the lack of knowledge of the Strategic Development Plan of the institution, by employees at the top, middle and lower hierarchical level, as well as other administrative process tools such as: objectives, strategies, activities and the institutional development plan. Finally, this information constituted the proposal to improve the processes that are currently being carried out.
